DATA, WITHOUT THE NOISE
PRIVACY
This notice describes how orders are handled: payment through PayPal, production and dispatch by our print partner. It is completed with the seller’s identity below, and the print partner is named before checkout opens.
Data used
For orders we expect to process identity and contact details, billing and delivery addresses, order contents, payment status, support messages, device/security data and shipment tracking information.
Why it is used
Data is used to take payment, fulfill and deliver orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, keep accounting records and comply with legal obligations. Marketing messages require the appropriate consent or another valid legal basis.
Service providers
PayPal processes the payment and receives the buyer’s name, address and order total; we never see or store card details. Our print partner receives the order contents and the recipient’s address, in order to print and ship. Carriers receive delivery data. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes requests. Each provider’s role, location and retention terms is documented here before checkout opens.
International transfers and retention
PayPal and Cloudflare may process data outside the EU under their standard contractual clauses. Concrete retention periods are stated here before checkout opens.
Design ratings
Visitors can rate a design from one to five stars without creating an account. A rating is stored with the design, the score, the site language and the time. To keep one person from voting on the same design repeatedly we store a salted SHA-256 hash of the IP address and browser user agent — never the address itself, and the hash cannot be linked back to a person. Ratings are never published: they are aggregate feedback for the brand only, and no score is shown on the site or in its structured data. The browser also remembers locally which designs it has already rated, so the question is not repeated; clearing site data removes that record.
Visit statistics
We count page views on our own server. No script runs in your browser for this, nothing is stored on your device, and no third party is involved. Each view is recorded as a date, the page path without its query string, the referring website's domain, and whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop. To count returning visitors within a single day we derive a salted hash of the IP address and user agent that changes every day, so it cannot be used to follow anyone across days. Because this stores no personal data and places nothing on your device, it does not require consent.
Marketing cookies
Advertising or analytics pixels from third parties, such as the Meta pixel or Google Analytics, load only after you actively accept them in the banner, and never before. Declining is offered as prominently as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time. If no such pixel is configured, no banner appears and no third-party script is loaded at all. Before any pixel is switched on, this policy will name the provider, the purpose and the transfer safeguards.
Storage on your device
The shopping bag and the record of designs already rated are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies, and are not sent anywhere except when you place an order or submit a rating. The owner's private console sets one session cookie, which is only ever issued to the site owner after signing in.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and may complain to your supervisory authority. The final controller contact will appear here before sales open.
